In President Tinubu's words, "We are here to change weak economy narratives."

On Sunday, President Bola Tinubu reaffirmed that his administration is resolute in its mission to alter the prevailing discourse surrounding a feeble and sluggish economy through the implementation of governance reforms.

At the Presidential Villa in Abuja, President Tinubu assured while conducting bilateral political discussions with Olaf Scholz, Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, and his entourage.

The President called for enhanced cooperation with the German government in areas including education, natural resources, security, and democracy, among others.

The President, who stated that the distractions arising from the Supreme Court’s affirmation of his election last Thursday had been eliminated, expressed his appreciation to the German government for increased cooperation in various domains.

As per his assertion, “Nigeria is presently crawling; nevertheless, we are resolute in our quest to alter the discourse and institute a revolutionary administration within the nation.”

Scholz, the German chancellor, emphasized the necessity for increased cooperation in the realm of infrastructure, specifically about electricity and energy, in his reply.

In addition, he expressed gratitude for President Tinubu’s service in ECOWAS and urged cooperation in the effort to establish peace and stability throughout Africa and the globe.
