MyPayrollHR, a now defunct cloud-based payroll handling company based in upstate New York, has suddenly ceased activities this past week after stiffing staff in thousands of businesses. The ongoing disaster, allegedly involving mismanagement on the part of the CEO of the payroll company, has resulted in countless people having lost money from their bank accounts, leaving almost $35 million worth of payroll and tax payments in legal limbo.
