On tuesday night in Cote d’Ivoire, the Eagles of Mali defeated the Stallions of Burkina Faso 2-1 in the ongoing TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations 2023.
Edmond Tapsoba’s own goal in the third minute provided the Eagles with the lead.
In the 47th minute of the second half, Lassine Sinayoko doubles the advantage for Mali to 2-0.
The deficit was reduced to 2-1 with Bertrand Traore’s penalty attempt ten minutes later, following a handball review by the Video Assistant Referee.
