Dr Mrs Folasade Yemi-Esan as been appointed, with immediate effect, as the Acting Head of the Civil Service of the Federation by the president.
She has served in different capacities such as the Permanent Secretary in the Office of Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Information and Culture. Until her appointment, she was the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum Resources.
Dr. Mrs. Yemi-Esan, who is the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum Resources, takes over from Mrs. Winifred Ekanem Oyo-Ita, who has been directed to proceed on an indefinite leave to allow conclusion of the investigation being carried out by EFCC
