Professor Yemi Osinbajo, the former Vice President of Nigeria, has been appointed Global Advisor to the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP).
Tuesday, the organization tweeted: “The @EnergyAlliance is thrilled to announce the appointment of Nigeria’s former vice president, HE @ProfOsinbajo, as a Global Advisor, guiding our mission to accelerate the deployment of #cleanenergy in emerging economies.”
Tuesday evening, Osinbajo verified his appointment via a series of tweets from his official account.
He tweeted, “I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve been appointed Global Advisor to the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet @EnergyAlliance.”
Through #ACMI, we will collaborate to unlock capital flows into the renewable energy sector and increase Africa’s share of the global carbon market.
