Guinness World Record has revealed that their June 13, 2023 tweet certifying Hilda Effiong Bassey, alias Hilda Baci, as the new record holder for the longest cooking marathon by an individual was their “best-performing tweet of all time.”
We reported that GWR formally certified Hilda Baci on Tuesday and lowered her official record from 100 hours to 93 hours and 11 minutes, citing the fact that “she mistakenly took extra minutes for one of her breaks early in the attempt.”
Thursday, the record organization announced that their tweet verifying Hilda as the new cooking record holder is now their “best-performing tweet of all time.”
Guinness World Record retweeted the post with the caption, “Yeah, so this is our best-performing tweet of all time with nearly 25 million news feeds reached.”
As of the time of writing, the tweet validating Hilda Baci’s record has 216,000 likes, 85,500 retweets, and 19,200 quotes.
