MTN has activated the InstaVoice voicemail service for its subscribers so that you can receive voice messages from callers in cases where your phone is switched off, not reachable, busy or not answered. As an MTN user your line is already provisioned, you will therefore not be required to send any code to subscribe and you will not be billed for being on the service.
How do I desable the InstaVoice?
You can dial #004# from your mobile phone for free to stop receiving InstaVoice. You can also call the MTN Customer Care Center through 180 to deactivate the service.
