Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the incoming president, stated that he endured a difficult political campaign in order to win the presidential election of 2023.
This was declared by Tinubu on Wednesday in Port Harcourt, during the inauguration of the Rumuokwuta/Rumuola flyover.
Despite the arduous campaign, he stated that he is pleased to have won the most recent presidential election.
The President-elect asserted that he exerted great effort during the election campaign in order to secure victory.
Tinubu, however, stated that despite the opposition party’s obstacles and campaigns, he won the election.
“It is an honor and a privilege to be among you today,” said the incoming president. I am a man of great joy.
“I’m ecstatic because I endured a grueling campaign, fought hard, was backed by a large number of you, and ultimately won.”
Tinubu has assured that his administration will not marginalize any portion of the nation.
Tinubu declared, "I will leave legacies across the breadth and length of Nigeria.
"I will never forget the crucial role that the great and magnificent people of this state played in my successful campaign to become the next president of the United States. You have my enduring gratitude. "I see a man of principle in his excellency, Governor Wike. He took a principled stance that the presidency ought to be returned to the South, and he had the courage to abide by his convictions regardless of who he offended.
Indeed, he is a man of high moral character. He chose to serve the nation and the people of Rivers state, rather than his own personal interests. I appreciate his generosity as a leader."
Remember that the opposition parties, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Labour Party (LP), have challenged the results of the election, and that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Tinubu the victor.
