Entrepreneurs in Ondo State frequently encounter formidable obstacles when it comes to achieving e-commerce expansion and ensuring the long-term viability of their businesses. In order to overcome these challenges, SalesPlat, a company committed to promoting business and economic development throughout Africa, has formed a partnership with Peppa, a social e-commerce platform. This collaboration is a crucial component of a larger initiative involving Sterling Bank and various other organizations. Its aim is to enhance entrepreneurship by providing training programs, funding opportunities, and essential resources.
SalesPlat, founded by Olatunde Victor, is renowned for its role in driving individual, business, and economic development, beginning in Nigeria. The main objective is to establish a physical hub that brings together creativity, technology, business, and scientific innovation. “SalesPlat was created with the intention of offering infrastructure support for growth, and this program has been specifically customized for Ondo State,” Victor stated. By partnering with Peppa, we are able to provide entrepreneurs with essential e-commerce capabilities to help them grow their businesses.
This event aims to support a large number of businesses by offering them valuable business training, online sales support, insurance, loans, expansion capital, and grants. It is designed to provide a wide range of resources and opportunities for businesses to grow and succeed. Our aim is to promote and foster tech, business, and growth opportunities in Ondo State, as well as other parts of Nigeria and Africa as a whole.
Peppa, an online platform that offers digital storefronts, sales tools, and services to assist merchants in effectively driving e-commerce sales, recognizes the significance of equipping businesses with the necessary knowledge and tools to succeed, regardless of their industry or location. “With this partnership, Ondo entrepreneurs can benefit from our e-commerce solutions and SalesPlat’s comprehensive business support,” stated Bankole Alao, CEO of Peppa.
The joint initiative commences with the Ondo Entrepreneurs Virtual Summit on June 15th, showcasing valuable insights from prominent industry leaders. Following the conference, there will be a 5-day accelerator program from June 18th to 22nd. This program offers valuable hands-on training in various areas, such as sales, marketing, business plan development, and more.
Participants will have the opportunity to utilize SalesPlat’s comprehensive infrastructural support services, along with Peppa’s cutting-edge e-commerce platform, to establish and develop their online sales channels for their growing businesses. The program seeks to foster entrepreneurship by linking innovative ideas with technological resources, business guidance, and funding prospects through pitch competitions.
A distinguished panel of judges, known for their extensive knowledge and experience in accelerator programs both nationally and internationally, will carefully assess the pitches. Their evaluation process will ultimately lead to the identification of 10 outstanding businesses in July who will be awarded grants.
The initiative will reach its peak with the Ondo State Entrepreneurs Summit, a highly anticipated physical event set to take place later this year. Here, the most promising businesses will have the chance to present their groundbreaking ideas and receive well-deserved recognition.
This partnership between SalesPlat Technologies and Peppa is poised to generate substantial opportunities for entrepreneurs in Ondo State, providing them with the necessary tools and support to excel in the fiercely competitive business environment.
