The opening ceremony for the 2024 Olympics in Paris, France, is presently underway, with great athletes, singers, world leaders, and spectators flocking in from all over the world to see the spectacular event.
According to AFP, up to 500,000 people watch in person from specially created stands, where tickets have been sold for up to 2,700 euros ($2,900), on the riverbanks for free, and from balconies and flats viewing the event.
The Olympics’ opening procession will be moved beyond the main athletics stadium and into the capital’s centre for the first time, in keeping with the motto “Games Wide Open.”
