Chelsea Football Club has reached a deal with Mauricio Pochettino to make him the club’s official coach.
At the end of this season, Pochettino, who is 51 years old, will take over as manager of the club from Frank Lampard.
After he was fired by Tottenham Hotspur in November 2019, he went back to the English Premier League.
Pochettino played for Argentina 20 times and took over as manager of Espanyol in January 2009. He had played for Espanyol more than 250 times.
Pochettino has a big job to do before next season, since Chelsea is currently 11th in the EPL table and hasn’t won the title yet.
