The appointment of Dr. Olasupo Olusi as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Bank of Industry (BOI) has been approved by President Bola Tinubu. The appointment is granted for four years.
On Thursday, the Special Adviser to the President (Media & Publicity), Ajuri Ngelale, issued a statement declaring this.
Ngelale stated that Tinubu’s confirmation of Olusi’s appointment followed Mr. Olukayode Pitan’s voluntary resignation as former BOI Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer.
Olusi, as per the statement, has accumulated two decades of experience as an expert in development finance and an economist for the World Bank.
His tenure has also included serving as the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy’s economic adviser.
