Tinubu mourns Agbabiaka, the monarch of Lagos

On Wednesday, President Bola Tinubu expressed his condolences on the death of Oba Kabiru Agbabiaka, also known as Adelola Olushi III, the Osolo of Isolo.

He offered his condolences to the Lagos State government, the people, and the family of the late king.

In a statement headed “President Tinubu mourns passing of Oba Kabiru Agbabiaka of Isolo,” which was signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, Tinubu expressed his condolences.

Shortly after attending the Wednesday Eid prayers, Oba Agbabiaka, 64, passed away.

The late king was buried by 4 p.m. in accordance with Islamic customs, according to a statement released by Olasoju Adebayo, the Chairman of the Isolo Local Council Development Area, which confirmed his death.

The President “receives the news of the passing of the Osolo of Isolo, Oba Kabiru Adelaja Agbabiaka (Adeola Olushi III), with deep sadness,” according to Ngelale.

The President asked his family and everyone else experiencing this terrible loss to find comfort in the extraordinary legacy that Oba Agbabiaka left behind as they mourned his departure.

Thus, Tinubu prayed to God Almighty for the late monarch’s soul to rest in peace and for his family to be able to cope with the immense burden of his death.
