President Bola Tinubu expresses his heartfelt sympathies to the family of the late former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ibrahim Lamorde. Mr. Lamorde passed away on Sunday in Egypt at the age of 61.
Lamorde, born on December 20, 1962, started his journey in the Nigeria Police in 1986 and reached the position of Deputy Inspector General of Police in 2021.
Tinubu, in a statement released by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngalale, on Sunday, also extended his condolences to the associates of the former anti-graft czar, the EFCC, the Nigeria Police Force, and the government and people of Adamawa State.
The statement mentioned that the retired Deputy Inspector-General of Police served as the pioneer Director of Operations and third substantive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission from 2012 to 2015.
The President expresses his condolences to the associates of the former anti-graft czar, the EFCC, the Nigeria Police Force, as well as the government and people of Adamawa State.
President Tinubu extends his heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased and prays for solace and peace during this difficult time.
