WhatsApp is rolling out the feature that would allow users to react with all emojis rather than the chosen six the company had earlier put out.
In May, WhatsApp announced the feature for emoji reactions, and it had only six of it.
In a Facebook Post, META CEO, Mark Zuckerberg announced;
“We’re rolling out the ability to use any emoji as a reaction on WhatsApp” , he wrote before listing a couple of his favourites.
Like the previous emoji reactions, the feature is accessible by long-pressing the message you want to react to, which then opens the then previous six emojis with a new plus icon.
Clicking on the plus icon opens a menu containing every available emoji.
The expanded emoji reaction is rolling out now, and will be available to all WhatsApp users in the coming weeks.
