Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are back with Bad Boys for Life

Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are about to give the people what they want with Bad Boys for Life, the long-awaited sequel to a extremely lucrative franchise. Sony Pictures Entertainment has chosen to reintroduce the hype with the appropriate trailer.

Take a nearly three-minute look at Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah’s take on the detective-driven, 1995-originated franchise. The original franchise stars Smith and Lawrence are joined by Thomas Brag, Jacob Scipio, Paola Núñez, Joe Pantoliano, Vanessa Hudgens, Nicky Jam, and DJ Khaled.

As die hard followers of Bad Boys III news already know, there has been a word of some kind about a threequel floating through the headlines for more than a decade now, since-abandoned release dates and successive pushbacks included. Bad Boys II was released in 2003.

Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah were announced as managers of the sequel in January 2018, and Variety included them on their list of 10 Directors to Watch the same month. The previous credits of the Belgian creative duo include a pair of Snowfall episodes and the 2015 Black feature-length project.

Bad Boys for Life hits cinemas on January 17, 2020.
